WiFi Module ESP8266
Updated version 10/24/2019
Now with onboard antenna, perfect for small builds, includes external antenna allowing greater range!!
This WiFi module is based on the popular ESP8266 that you can buy at countless places with the following exceptions:
1. We know the ESP8266 manufacturer
2. We assemble them in California
2. We have pre-flashed them with ArduPilot MAVESP8266 firmware by Andrew Tridgell
3. We have tested them
4. We support them =)
The WiFi radio is developed around the very popular ESP8266 module used in many IoT projects. The WiFi module V1.0 comes with a standard JST-GH, allowing you to establish a UDP connection with your computer or mobile device and use mobile ground stations.
Comes with the latest Ardupilot ESP8266 firmware developed by Andrew Tridgell. This new firmware has a nice web interface, MavLink2 support, and an easier way to do future updates via the web interface.
